TCCL believes in the sustainability of environment and makes commendable efforts to continuously improve its
contribution towards the same.
TCCL heavily invested in enhancement of its Bag House by 33% saving the environment from 16 tons of
processed dust on a daily basis. A captive Power Plant is supplying 300 – 350 MWH of electricity to HESCO
every month and contributing towards reduction in energy crisis of the country. TCCL has also installed high
efficiency motors and drives in collaboration with USAID, due to which it has been able to contribute
towards reduction of around 4.5 million for this year thus lessening the green house gases emissions.
Initiative taken by TCCL to upgrade the plant for even better efficiency will additionally cause reduction
of around 33,000 tons CO2 emission per year when this project will complete early next year.
